Pukditanakul, Justice of the Constitutional Court, attended the international conference under the theme of "Separation of Powers and Constitutional Court” held by the
Constitutional Court of Mongolia in cooperation with the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe during 6 – 7 June 2019
at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In this occasion, the Justice delivered a speech in Session I of the
international conference on the topic of legislative power and the
Constitutional Court. His speech is on the subject of "the Constitutional Court and Its Duty in
Reviewing the Draft Constitutional Amendment”.
In the Session II of the
international conference under the theme of "Separation of Powers and Constitutional Court” which the topic related to executive
power and the Constitutional Court, Professor Jaran Pukditanakul,
Justice of the Constitutional Court, presided over the session in the
position of Chairperson. In this regard, Mr. Philip Dimitrov, Member of the Venice Commission
of the Council of Europe, Justice of the Constitutional Court of the Republic
of Bulgaria, and the former Prime Minister of Bulgaria delivered a keynote speech concerning the approach on reviewing the constitutionality of exercising
executive power. Moreover, the Justices from various countries also delivered
their speeches, i.e. Justice of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of
Union of Myanmar, Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, and Justice of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
